What an immeasurable loss. Not since the murder of John Lennon and Kurt Cobain's suicide has the death of an icon affected me so much as the passing of Chris Cornell. He was and will remain among the best Rock voices of all time and an awesome song writer. I'm still in the denial phase and don't want to believe it. Soundgarden and the rise of the Grunge movement still stands for the first music that meant something to me.
